| OK, base idle set per procedure on a warm engine. Car runs great and idle is perrrrrfect on a warm engine. Cold is another story. Engine will not idle high enough to stay running without me attending the throttle for a few mins. Idle tries to drop to 600 or so and the engine will not stay running. If I keep my foot on the throttle and keep it at 1000 rpm for a few mins, it warms up enough to stay running at a very low idle. BUT...if I put it in gear the idle drops a LOT more than 50 - 70 rpm and the engine will stall if I'm not careful. The exhaust also seems to smell stronger than it used to when cold. The ECU is showing no error codes however, and the car RUNS better than ever when warm. ideas ??
